Inter Milan reportedly will not make a last ditch bid to try and sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
The soap opera between Inter Milan and Ademola Lookman dominated the summer transfer window for several weeks.
The Nerazzurri made two offers for the Nigerian. They went as high as €45 million with their bid.
However, Atalanta rejected both offers from Inter.
Reportedly, La Dea wanted a higher fee for Lookman, and would not even give Inter a counteroffer.

According to La Repubblica, Atalanta would have wanted no less than €55 million to sell Lookman.
And that’s a figure that Inter simply wouldn’t have ever reached.
Therefore, there is little scope for a deal. The Nerazzurri have informed Lookman already that they have moved on.
As such, La Republicca report, Lookman is waiting to see whether any other offers come in.
The Premier League could be a landing spot for the 27-year-old.
Otherwise, though, Lookman could end up being an Atalanta player at the start of this season after all.
