Inter Milan are desperate to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman, but they’re not willing to wait forever.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the San Siro giants have set the deadline for La Dea to respond.

Lookman’s arrival seemed like a done deal after the Nerazzurri agreed on personal terms with the player.

Indeed, the 27-year-old has accepted a multi-year contract worth around €4 million net per season.

However, Atalanta’s demands could spoil the party.

Inter cannot and will not match La Dea’s €50m asking price.

They already offered €40m for the Nigerian and won’t make any changes to their opening bid.

Therefore, the agreement is hanging by a thread.

Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman is currently on the sidelines with an injury.

However, he should regain full fitness by the end of the month.

And Inter are only willing to wait until Lookman’s recovery before deciding whether to move on to alternative targets.
