Report – Inter Milan Inquire About £40M Rated Man United & England Star | OneFootball

Inter Milan have reportedly inquired about the availability of out-of-favour Man United striker Marcus Rashford.

This according to UK outlet Manchester Evening News. They report, however, that any deal would have to be on loan, and that the Englishman’s wages could pose a problem.

Inter Milan have been in talks with Manchester United in recent weeks.

Initially, the Nerazzurri had shown an interest in signing Red Devils striker Joshua Zirkzee. However, they then turned their attention to another former Serie A forward, Rasmus Hojlund.

By all accounts, Hojlund is a top target for the Nerazzurri in attack this summer.

However, reports Manchester Evening News, there’s yet another United striker who Inter have also sounded out a move for.

According to Manchester Evening News, the Nerazzurri asked United about the availability of Marcus Rashford this summer.

There is certainly little doubt that the Europa League finalists will aim to offload the 27-year-old this summer.

Rashford had spent the second half of last season on loan with Aston Villa. And he is still not in the plans of Manchester United coach Ruben Amorim.

Manchester Evening News report that United are resigned to the fact that they’ll likely have to loan Rashford out this summer, rather than selling him outright.

The outlet anticipate that the Red Devils value Rashford at around £40 million.

Inter have sounded out whether there would be scope for a loan deal in their talks with United.

One issue for the Nerazzurri would be Rashford’s wages, however. The England international earns £325,000 net per week at Old Trafford.
