Inter Milan could make an ambitious double swoop for Parma defender Giovanni Leoni and Genoa’s Koni De Winter.
Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, report that Inter could sign Leoni even without a sale and then move for De Winter as a replacement for Yann Bisseck or Benjamin Pavard.
Inter Milan are still contemplating what their backline will look like next season.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the Nerazzurri are planning to make a move for Giovanni Leoni no matter what.
Inter see Leoni as a long-term replacement for Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij. Therefore, even with both Acerbi and de Vrij likely to stay, Inter still want to sign Leoni.

Meanwhile, Inter are still considering selling the likes of Yann Bisseck or Benjamin Pavard.
And in that event, the Nerazzurri would certainly want to sign a replacement.
And the Gazzetta dello Sport has little doubt about who Inter would target to replace either Bisseck or Pavard.
If either the France of Germany internationals are to leave, Inter will move for De Winter in addition to Leoni.
