Spanish international Bryan Zaragoza moved to FC Bayern in the winter. The 22-year-old has so far been unable to establish himself in Munich. According to the latest reports, FC Barcelona are interested in the winger and are considering loaning him out in the summer.

Bryan Zaragoza has made just two brief appearances for Bayern since moving to Munich from Granada in January. The winger has played virtually no part under Thomas Tuchel. Zaragoza did not even make the matchday squad for the German record champions in their recent 5-2 win over Darmstadt 98.

Even though Zaragoza has not had an ideal start at FCB, those in charge are convinced of his qualities. Max Eberl and co. hope that the 22-year-old will blossom under the new head coach. The only question is: Will Zaragoza remain at FC Bayern beyond the current season?

Barcelona considering loan of Zaragoza

According to Spanish newspaper SPORT, FC Barcelona are interested in the winger. The Catalans were already rumoured to be interested last summer. According to the newspaper, Barça would like to loan out the Spanish international and see him as a „cost-effective solution“ for the offence.

However, according to SPORT, a Zaragoza transfer would only be considered if Raphinha or João Félix were to leave the club at the end of the season. Another prerequisite for a deal: Bayern agree to a loan deal. Barcelona simply do not have the money to sign Zaragoza permanently.

Whether and how things will continue with Zaragoza at FC Bayern is currently completely open and depends largely on the new Munich head coach. FCB are planning a squad shake-up in the summer. It remains to be seen what role the Spaniard will play in this.
