Dele turns 29 today, and while his career has not gone the way we might have expected due to a combination of injuries and personal issues he had to deal with, it's important to remember what an exceptional player he was.

Tottenham have done just that, wishing their former midfielder a happy birthday and showcasing maybe the best goal he's ever scored.

It came in December 2015 at Selhurst Park when he was just 19, and showed everything Dele was about as a player: brave, audacious, class and technically brilliant.

The one-time England regular made 269 appearances for the North London club between 2015 and 2022, scoring 67 times and becoming a firm fan favourite.

Dele played his first game in two years last month for new club Como, but was unluckily sent off inside just 10 minutes. Regardless of that, it was great to see him fit again, and let's hope it's the start of something special in Italy.
