Real Sociedad handed Kubo boost before Cádiz | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have been afforded a timely boost on the personnel front, ahead of the club’s upcoming meeting with Cádiz.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have this evening provided an update on developments at Sociedad’s training ground.

Joining the rest of Imanol’s squad back in full training on Wednesday was star attacker Takefusa Kubo.

Wide-man Kubo, for his part, was forced to sit out over the weekend, as La Real secured a timely return to winning ways at the expense of Granada.

And his status to face Cádiz had since been thrown up in the air, too, as the Japanese continued to struggle with a back problem.

In turn, news of Kubo’s return to first-team duties will no doubt be met with a collective sigh of relief on the part of the Real Sociedad faithful.

The 22-year-old is expected to be available to feature from the off when Imanol’s troops set about making it back-to-back La Liga victories at Anoeta on Friday night.
