Los Blancos take on Pep Guardiola’s side in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, with the first leg set to be played at the Bernabeu on April 9.

As per the report, all tickets for the blockbuster encounter have already sold out even before the deadline for the general public has even opened, indicating the demand and fanfare surrounding the match.

The window for the general public to buy tickets for the encounter was scheduled for Monday at 10.00 am. However, fans who were planning to log on to the Madrid website at that time should turn off their alarms, because there is not a single ticket left.

Record attendance expected

Euro season ticket holders, subscribers, members and holders of the Real Madrid premium card (the latter three with a preferential period for the purchase of tickets) have exhausted the 75,000 tickets available for this match.

In addition to that, the 3,800 available to the travelling Manchester City fans are also sold out.

As such, the new Bernabeu will break its attendance record on April 9, which currently stands at 76,732, during the derby between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

The prices for the tickets for the match, between €88 and €312 for club members, have not been an impediment for the fans to fill the Bernabeu.

The two teams have a burgeoning rivalry in the Champions League, having clashed in each of the last two seasons. Real Madrid got the better of Man City in 2021/22 and won the UCL, while the vice-versa happened last time out.

Naturally, there is a lot of excitement surrounding the match and the Bernabeu will be absolutely buzzing on April 9.
