Real Madrid are yet to make a decision on the future of Manchester United-linked striker Joselu at the Santiago Bernabeu ahead of the summer, according to The Athletic.

The veteran forward scored two late goals against Bayern Munich to send Real Madrid to the final of the Champions League last week.

Joselu joined Los Blancos on loan from Espanyol last summer but Real Madrid do not have an option to buy him.

Manchester United are said to be considering him as a cheap and experienced option to add to their forward options for next season.

The Spaniard would prefer to stay at Real Madrid but the club are yet to make a decision either way on the striker’s future.

The 34-year-old striker is set to be available for a fee of €1.5m, which is not a problem for Real Madrid.

Joselu is also happy to play a bit-part role at Real Madrid but the club are aware that their squad could be top-heavy next season.

Kylian Mbappe and Endrick are set to join the club this summer, which will bolster their forward options.

For the moment, Real Madrid remain undecided on whether to keep the veteran striker at the club.
