Real Madrid are reportedly considering Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni as a potential new recruit in time for next season.
Los Blancos were keen on signing the 20-year-old in January but Tchouameni opted to join the Stade Louis II outfit from Bordeaux instead.
But thanks to the inevitable financial difficulties most clubs will face following the coronavirus pandemic, reports are that Monaco could be forced into a quick sale once the transfer window opens.
The France Under-19 midfielder has been scouted heavily by Real Madrid, but right now he is second to Eduardo Camavinga on their wishlist.
But with Rennes having been confirmed as taking part in next season’s Champions League, there is a school of thought that Camavinga will stay for one more season.
Should that be the case, Marca say that Zinedine Zidane’s side will go for Tchouameni, who should only cost around €15m.
