Real Madrid are reportedly ready to propose a summer swap deal involving Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard.
Bale looks set to leave the Santiago Bernabéu with Zinedine Zidane back in charge, but his troubling injury record and wages could prove a stumbling block.
According to Mirror Football, Los Blancos are ready to pursue long-term target Hazard and will offer the Welshman as a ‘sweetener’ for the deal.
Chelsea have been banned from signing players over the next two transfer windows, but Real have flirted with the idea of buying Bale out of his contract.
Hazard made no secret of his “dream” to play for the LaLiga giants last summer and even admitted Zidane was his footballing idol growing up.
According to HLN journalist Kristof Teurrer, contact has already been established between both clubs but no agreement has been reached.
