The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move away from the club for several years, despite the club’s upwards trajectory. Talks of a move to Real Madrid are prominent, although links to Paris Saint-Germain are growing with each passing day.
Despite seemingly prioritising a move for Kylan Mbappe, it’s now claimed that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez ‘remains keen’ on bringing Paul Pogba to the club. That’s according to 90min, who goes on to say that Pogba is considering his options, with a move to Spain not being ruled out.
Should Pogba stay at the club this summer, the midfielder will be eligible to sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs as soon as January next year.
The former Juventus star could leave the club on a free transfer for the second time in a decade, having opted for a move to Serie A in 2012 despite being offered a new deal at Old Trafford.
