Real Madrid are reportedly preparing for a strong move in the transfer market, with eyes firmly set on Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez.

As such, according to Fichajes, the Los Blancos are open to selling three first-team players, namely, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, and Fran Garcia, to generate the funds needed for what would be one of the most expensive signings of the summer.

Enzo Fernandez has long been admired by Real Madrid. The Argentine midfielder, who joined Chelsea from Benfica, is seen as the ideal successor to Toni Kroos, who retired last year.

However, signing him won’t be easy, as the 24-year-old is under contract with Chelsea until 2032, and the London club have no intention of letting him go on the cheap.

Chelsea have made it clear they won’t even start negotiations for less than €130 million.

Players on thin ice

To meet Chelsea’s demands, Real Madrid are weighing up some tough decisions. Among the players potentially on the chopping block is Rodrygo, who has had an underwhelming season and has already attracted interest from several Premier League clubs.

Despite his talent, the Brazilian’s inconsistency has raised doubts about his future at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Camavinga is another surprising name mentioned. The French midfielder, though still young, has struggled with injury. His versatility remains valuable, but Madrid may be willing to part with him if it helps land Enzo.

Lastly, Garcia is also in consideration for a sale. With Alvaro Carreras’ signing, his departure is a more realistic option.

Real Madrid hope to collect around €150 million from these potential sales, giving them the financial muscle to make a serious bid for Enzo without affecting other parts of the squad.

With the summer transfer window still some time away, the groundwork is already being laid for what could be one of the biggest moves of the year.
