Real Madrid move for Onuralp Çevikkan | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have begun work towards the signing of a highly-regarded up-and-coming goalkeeper, according to reports.

The player in question? Onuralp Çevikkan.

Çevikkan, for his part, is an 18-year-old shot-stopper, who is currently plying his trade on the books of Turkish outfit Trabzonspor.

A youth international with Turkey, too, he is understood to have been scouted by Real Madrid on a number of occasions of late, including during a recent meeting with Spain.

And the feedback on the part of Los Blancos’ scouts, evidently, has proven of an altogether positive nature.

As per a report from Diario AS, citing Turkish outlet Sabah, the powers that be at the Santiago Bernabéu have gone as far as to sanction a €10 million offer for Çevikkan’s services.

AS add that the plan would be for the gifted starlet to take his place in Real Madrid Castilla, beginning next season.

This comes amid an ongoing effort to reinforce the youth ranks in Spain’s capital, amid what has proven a disappointing campaign for the Castilla to date.

It now remains to be seen whether or not Trabzonspor are open to a sale.
