In a disappointing development, journalist Ramon Alvarez reports that Real Madrid are unlikely to complete the signing of teenage wonderkid Abdellah Ouazane from AFC Ajax this summer.
A deal for the 16-year-old attacking midfield prodigy had been in the works for a few weeks now and it was believed that the completion of the transfer was only a matter of days.
However, as per the latest update, the deal has now fallen through due to some problems in the pre-transfer process.
A gifted talent, Ouazane was a regular for Ajax’s Under-17 team last season and managed to break into the Dutch giants’ Under-19 setup as well.

The youngster has represented the Moroccan national team at the Under-17 level, racking up 15 appearances, scoring four goals in the process.
Real Madrid had taken note of the youngster’s potential and had made moves to sign him. The idea had been to integrate him into the Castilla squad right away despite his young age.
But, it appears that the transfer has now collapsed due to some problems in the pre-transfer process. The update from Ramon Alvarez further adds that the issues did not occur from Real Madrid’s end.
With there still being plenty of time in the summer transfer window, it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid make any further efforts to get the operation to sign Ouazane back on track.
