Jude Bellingham is currently one of Real Madrid’s biggest absentees as the club kickstart their journey under new coach Xabi Alonso.

The Englishman had to go through surgery to overcome his muscular injury, which ruled him out of action for many months.

Bellingham is slated to return in October, but the process could take as much time as November. The player, for his part, though, is determined not to make that happen.

According to journalist Alvaro Esteban, Bellingham has not stopped working ever since returning to the Valdebebas.

On multiple occasions, the midfielder has arrived before 9.30 a.m. in time and has worked for more than six hours.

This is all in order to get back to full fitness well ahead of time and become available for Real Madrid.

Esteban adds that there is a possibility Bellingham could return early, but the club have thrown him a word of caution, asking to proceed with calmness as far as his rehab is concerned.

Real Madrid, after all, want to avoid taking any risks with the fitness of their key players, especially after struggling with injuries throughout the course of last season.

The Englishman, though, is unlikely to stop anytime soon as he looks to return to the pitch as soon as possible and play a key role in Alonso’s new-look Real Madrid side.

It was reported recently that the midfielder’s post-surgery recovery is going well, although it is unlikely the player will be available anytime before October-end or November.

Until then, Real Madrid will have to make do with the limited options they have. It will be interesting to see if Bellingham’s prolonged absence will force Alonso to utilise Dani Ceballos, who is keen on remaining at the Bernabeu this month.
