Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde has collected an injury during defeat at Valencia.

Valverde picked up a fracture in the game.

Los Blancos said Monday: "Following tests carried out on our player, Federico Valverde, by Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a fracture in the posterior tibial bone in his right leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed."

Valverde will not join up with Uruguay this month and is expected to miss, at least, five or six games due to the injury with at least one month out of action.
