The matchup in question will see Real Madrid welcome Barcelona to the capital, for a top-of-the-table La Liga clash.

Heading into proceedings, the former will be fully aware that an eventual victory would see them all but secure their status as champions, in opening up an 11-point advantage atop the standings.

In turn, the Blancos brass are understandably keen to afford themselves every possible advantage from the off on Sunday night.

And a decision regarding one potential route towards as much has this afternoon been made.

As per a report from Diario AS, Real Madrid have informed La Liga of their intention to close the roof of the Bernabéu for the Clásico.

As much comes with a view to making the atmosphere as raucous as possible, across the 90 minutes later this evening.

It marks the first occasion in the long and storied history of the fixture that Real Madrid and Barcelona will lock horns ‘inside’, in an official setting.
