Real Madrid make Arsenal star top transfer priority, already in contact with his reps – report | OneFootball

Arsenal centre-back William Saliba is the top priority for Real Madrid for the 2025 summer transfer window, according to French outlet Le10Sport.

The Spanish club are already in touch with the representatives of the Frenchman to test the waters and know what it will take to tempt the Arsenal star into agreeing to a deal.

Madrid could look to go all out financially to convince the Gunners and Saliba, but luring the player away from the Emirates Stadium club could prove very tricky.

The Arsenal defender signed a new four-year deal until 2027 in July 2023 and could get another contract extension soon given his importance to the North London club.

He has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the world over the last two seasons, leading his Madrid counterpart Antonio Rudiger to suggest he wants the club to sign him.

The German picked the France international among his best three centre-backs in the world right now and also admitted he would love to play alongside the 23-year-old.

It appears the dream of the former Chelsea star could come true, but losing such a player anytime soon will be the last thing Arsenal want.

The Gunners have become a force to reckon with under manager Mikel Arteta in the Premier League and Europe after challenging Manchester City for the English top-flight in the last two seasons, but joining Madrid could be very tempting to Saliba.
