Jürgen Klopp has spoken for the first time since becoming Red Bull’s new Head of Global Soccer.
It was confirmed on Wednesday that the former Liverpool boss would be returning to the game in January, joining the Austrian drinks giant in an executive capacity.
That news hasn’t gone down too well in Germany with supporters of Borussia Dortmund particularly incensed that Klopp would join up with the brand in charge of RB Leipzig.
But Klopp has now spoken for the first time about why he decided to accept their offer.
Addressing fans on his Instagram account, Klopp admitted that he wanted to take this post as a way to “learn more” after 25 years in coaching and “share my experiences”.
