Jude Bellingham’s last-gasp strike in the stoppage time earned Real Madrid a hard-fought 3-2 win over Barcelona, effectively winning them the La Liga title this season.

The team from the Spanish capital entered the contest with a formidable eight-point lead and yesterday’s win meant the gap has now increased to an impressive 11 points.

After a week of intense stress and high stakes, it was time to let loose and celebrate for Real Madrid players.

An impromptu party was just what the players needed to release the built-up tension and assess their overall happiness following a few demanding days of important matches, including the one against Manchester City.

Their victory against City secured their spot in the semi-finals, and their win in the Clasico brings them closer to the league title. Now, they can fully focus on their upcoming tie against Bayern, knowing they are in a strong position.

When can Real Madrid officially win La Liga?

Last night’s win for the Los Blancos has given them a strong lead in La Liga, placing them 11 points ahead at the top of the table.

With only six games remaining, totalling 18 possible points, it seems the title is destined for them.

If Real Madrid wins their next three games against Real Sociedad, Cadiz, and Granada, and Barcelona also wins their next three against Valencia, Girona, and Real Sociedad, they could clinch the title against Granada on Matchday 35 during the second weekend of May.

However, if Barcelona slip up and lose more points in any of their games, and Real Madrid continue their winning streak, the title could be secured even sooner.

This would be advantageous for Real Madrid, especially considering that their game against Granada falls shortly after the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.

It appears the title is within reach for Real Madrid, and it is just a matter of time before they officially seal the deal.
