Real Madrid fullback Ferland Mendy is delighted with his first year in Spain.
Mendy joined Real last year from Olympique Lyon on recommendation of coach Zinedine Zidane.

He told Telefoot: "That Zinedine Zidane loves you is flattering. It is the class.
"When I signed for Real Madrid I was very afraid of my traansfer. It is very difficult to get to Real Madrd, but I adapted and I think it went quite well.
"I don't think I've replaced Marcelo. We have a good relationship. He has given me good advice so far."
