In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Real Madrid are showing interest in Liverpool FC Montevideo wide player Luciano Rodriguez. It has been stated that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to recruit the Uruguayan youngster in the summer.

Rodriguez is having a bright campaign at the Uruguayan club after putting in a few eye-catching performances for them on the offensive end of the field. The 20-year-old has found the back of the net on 14 occasions and picked up six assists in 49 senior appearances for Liverpool Montevideo thus far across all fronts.

The Montevideo-born prospect has managed to shine at times with his performances in South American football. He is currently amongst the most promising young players in his country and would prove to be a decent signing for Los Blancos in the long run.

His current contract will expire at the end of 2027 which could make it difficult for Real Madrid to get a deal done for him on the cheap later this year.

Real Madrid Are Showing Interest In Rodriguez: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Rodriguez is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make a few driving runs with the ball out in the wide areas. He has got the eye to set up some inviting chances for others around him in and around the opposition penalty box.

The Uruguayan talent can even shoot the ball with power from long range. He mainly functions as a right-sided wide player but can also fill in as a centre-forward if asked to do so by his manager.

We can expect Rodriguez to bring more firepower to Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti’s attack in the long run. He has what it takes to go on to become a future starter at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

At 20, Rodriguez is undeniably a prospect to watch out for in the coming years. Hence, Los Blancos would be wise to go all out to bring him on board when the transfer window commences at the end of this campaign. However, only time will tell whether the gifted winger can make a smooth transition to life in the Spanish capital.
