In a recent report, Marca mentioned that Real Madrid are keeping tabs on River Plate playmaker Franco Mastantuono. It has been claimed that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to acquire the services of the Argentine attacker in the summer.

Mastantuono’s Impressive Run Of Form In Argentine Football

Mastantuono has come through the youth ranks of River Plate and has done well to break into their senior team recently. The Argentine attacker has scored one goal in ten matches for the Argentine outfit this season on all fronts.

The 16-year-old has caught the eye with his performances for his current employers in the final third. The Azul-born sensation is amongst the best young players in Argentine football at the moment.

Mastantuono’s current contract at the Argentine club will run out at the end of 2026. Therefore, it won’t be easy for Los Blancos to sign him on the cheap this summer.

Real Madrid Are Keeping Tabs On Mastantuono: Is He A Prospect For The Future?

Mastantuono is proficient at finding some space for himself to get a few strikes in on-target. He has got the vision to engineer some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet. However, there is still a lot of room for improvement in his game.

At 16, the talented prospect has already managed to catch the eye in Argentine football but he is still quite raw and would need time to settle into life in Spain. Still, there is no denying that he would be a great, long-term signing for Real Madrid to pull off at the end of this campaign.

We can expect Mastantuono to grow into a top talent at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium if Los Blancos can find a way to bring him on board in the summer transfer period. However, the Madrid giants would have to be patient with his progress if they want to get the best out of the youngster in the long run. All in all, Los Blancos would be wise to move in for him as he is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future.
