This is already Real Madrid's third signing for the 2025/26 season. New head coach Xabi Alonso has also welcomed the arrivals of Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth and Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool.

Having come up through the youth ranks at River Plate, Mastantuono made his debut in the main team of Los Millionarios in 2024, participating in 60 matches for the club since then.

Last Friday, he also became the youngest player to debut for the Argentine national team, at just 17 years, nine months, and 22 days old.
