The coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid are ready to afford youngster Jesús Fortea a call up to the club’s first-team squad.

That’s according to Marca, who have on Wednesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Fortea, for his part, has long been considered something of a star in the making at Valdebebas.

A gifted young right-back with quality both in and out of possession, the Spaniard is currently plying his trade with Real’s U19s.

Fortea is sidelined at present, owing to a minor injury suffered whilst lining out in the UEFA Youth League.

Upon his return, though, as per the aforementioned Marca, ‘the youngster will be seen in the club’s first-team training sessions’.

This comes amid a shortage at right-back in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad at present, owing to the long-term injury suffered by Dani Carvajal earlier this month.
