La Liga outfit Real Betis were on Tuesday afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.
This came by way of the return to training of defender Natan.
Stopper Natan, who arrived in Heliópolis on a season-long loan from Serie A giants Napoli, has proven himself a key figure in Manuel Pellegrini’s squad over the early weeks of the term.
All told, across Real Betis’ nine La Liga fixtures, the Brazilian featured in all but one, afforded starts on seven occasions.
In turn, it marked a heavy blow for the Verdiblancos when, last month, Natan was struck down by an injury blow.
En route to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of arch rivals Sevilla in the Gran Derbi, the 23-year-old picked up a knee concern which was expected to keep him sidelined for around a month.
As alluded to above, though, a matter of just nine days later, Natan was back in the thick of things in Seville.
As per a report from Marca, after being put through an individualised session on Monday, this morning, the central defender was back alongside his teammates in group training.
Natan, in turn, is looking increasingly likely to be available for selection to face Osasuna this coming weekend.
