The powers that be at La Liga outfit Real Betis have initiated contacts with their counterparts at Napoli, over a move for an out-of-favour member of the club’s defensive ranks.
That’s according to transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Natan as the player in question.
Stopper Natan, it is understood, is not in the plans of new Napoli head coach Antonio Conte.
The Brazilian, in turn, has been made available for transfer, with the brass in Naples eager to find a buyer at the earliest opportunity.
And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Sunday is anything to go by, the Partenopei may have found precisely that, in Spain.
As per a report from Relevo’s Matteo Moretto:
‘Betis have asked Napoli about the conditions for the departure of Natan, the Brazilian centre-back who is not in Antonio Conte’s plans.’
Betis’ pursuit of Borussia Dortmund starlet Soumaïla Coulibaly, which at one point looked close to completion, on the other hand, has now been called off.
