La Liga outfit Real Betis have on Tuesday been afforded some altogether timely positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation on the part of Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo that midfielder Johnny Cardoso has rejoined group activities alongside the rest of Manuel Pellegrini’s squad.
Cardoso was for his part forced to sit out Betis’ last two fixtures, owing to muscular concerns.
This morning, though, the United States international was back in the thick of things in Seville, expected to take his place in boss Pellegrini’s matchday setup to face Las Palmas on Thursday as a result.
Elsewhere in the Verdiblancos’ ranks, still absent from training on Tuesday, on the other hand, were Marc Bartra, and Youssouf Sabaly, both of whom are continuing to struggle with muscle problems of their own.
Long-term absentees Isco and William Carvalho, meanwhile, will not be seen in competitive action for some time yet.
