Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Liverpool to sign Colombian winger Luis Díaz in a deal worth €75 million.
The 28-year-old has been granted permission to travel for a medical ahead of completing a 4+1 year contract with the Bundesliga champions.
This transfer marks one of the biggest moves of the summer window and signals a major shift in both clubs' strategies. For Liverpool, it’s another example of new sporting director Richard Hughes’ ability to maximize player value, taking the club’s total sales to £190m since his appointment.
For Bayern, the signing reflects their determination to add attacking depth and experience after a season of mixed fortunes in Europe.
