Real Betis have completed the signing of Spanish midfielder Pablo Fornals from West Ham United.

The midfielder joins up with his former boss Manuel Pellegrini who signed the 27-year-old from Villarreal for the Hammers back in 2019.

The Spaniard made just over 20o appearances for West Ham, scoring 23 goals and producing 19 assists.

Fornals produced the moment that sealed West Ham’s spot in the Europa League final, scoring a magnificent solo goal away against Alkmaar in the semi-finals in the 93rd minute.

Real Betis are sat 7th in LaLiga with a Europa Conference League round of 32 tie against Dinamo Zagreb to play, so Pellegrini will surely be hoping that Fornals can help create some European for his own side.
