Tyrone Mings made his Aston Villa debut on Saturday and it’s fair to say he’s already left his mark on the Championship.

Mings – who signed on loan from Bournemouth on deadline day – left on loan Reading striker Nélson Oliveira with a broken nose and deep gashes on his face after accidentally standing on his face during the 0-0 draw at the Madejski Stadium.

To his credit, Mings made sure the game was stopped for Oliveira to receive treatment and later tweeted his concern for the Portuguese.

“Absolutely loved wearing the claret and blue today and over the moon with the clean sheet! @AVFCOfficial,” wrote Mings.

“Feel awfully sorry to Oliveira, I hope he is ok.”

But back in March 2017, you might recall Mings was handed a five-match ban for violent conduct after stamping on Zlatan Ibrahimović while playing for Bournemouth against Manchester United.

The former Ipswich defender claimed that incident was also an accident but many didn’t believe him then, and they still don’t believe him now.

Absolutely minging.
