Tyrone Mings made his Aston Villa debut on Saturday and itâs fair to say heâs already left his mark on the Championship.
Mings â who signed on loan from Bournemouth on deadline day â left on loan Reading striker NĂ©lson Oliveira with a broken nose and deep gashes on his face after accidentally standing on his face during the 0-0 draw at the Madejski Stadium.
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING IS NOT FOR THE SQUEAMISH
To his credit, Mings made sure the game was stopped for Oliveira to receive treatment and later tweeted his concern for the Portuguese.
âAbsolutely loved wearing the claret and blue today and over the moon with the clean sheet! @AVFCOfficial,â wrote Mings.
âFeel awfully sorry to Oliveira, I hope he is ok.â
But back in March 2017, you might recall Mings was handed a five-match ban for violent conduct after stamping on Zlatan IbrahimoviÄ while playing for Bournemouth against Manchester United.
The former Ipswich defender claimed that incident was also an accident but many didnât believe him then, and they still donât believe him now.
Absolutely minging.
