According to Sky Germany, RB Leipzig want to keep PSG’s Xavi Simons (21) after the end of his loan with the club. Based on the loan deal that was agreed between Les Parisiens and the Red Bull club last summer, the Dutch international will return to the Parc des Princes at the end of his loan as things stand.

However, another loan to Leipzig is not out of the question for next season, Sky Germany report. Following completing his return to PSG from PSV, Simons was instantly loaned out to the Bundesliga club and he has taken the league by storm. The former PSV attacker has scored six goals and assisted nine in 26 appearances for Leipzig to date.

Simon’s future is in his hands

An agreement exists between Simons and PSG which means his future is in his hands, according to Sky Germany. With the 21-year-old given the freedom to decide whether he would like to extend his stay with the Red Bull club or return to the Parc des Princes, Simons could have a decision to make next summer.
