RB Leipzig manager Jesse Marsch admitted in a recent interview that he is unsure if captain Marcel Sabitzer will stay at the club.

When speaking with SkySport News, the 47-year-old was questioned on the midfielder’s future.

Sabitzer has been heavily linked with a move to Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich.

“I’m not sure, but it doesn’t matter,” said Marsch. “As long as he’s in our team, then he’s our player and also our captain.”

“He’s an important player for RB. But a lot can happen in football.”

Additional reports claim Bayern are heavily interested in the 27-year-old star despite club representatives saying they were not signing any other names this transfer window.
