RB Leipzig have been handed a new injury blow after scans confirmed Emil Forsberg will be set for a spell on the sidelines.
The 30-year-old winger suffered an injury during the club’s clash against Arminia Bielefeld being substituted after just seven minutes of play.

New examinations have now revealed Forsberg suffered “a muscle injury near the hip joint in the left thigh” and he is expected to be out for around eight weeks as a result.
The loss is a blow for Leipzig as Forsberg has six goals and two assists to his name so far this season.
