Former Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund has began opening up to a move to Milan after gaining confirmation that he is no longer wanted at Manchester United.

Milanese journal La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Danish international had no intention to part ways with the Red Devils and was eager to fight for his spot in the starting eleven.

Hence the arrival of RB Leizpig star Benjamin Sesko, Manchester United have sent a clear message to the entourage of the 22 year-old that they do not want to continue with him after excluding him from action in the Premier League giants’ most recent friendly against Fiorentina, as well as through direct contacts with his representatives.

As it stands, the Rossonerri sporting director is seeking to offer a €3m-€4m loan fee with an obligation to buy at the end of the season worth €30m-€32m as a fixed fee.

However, there remains distance between both squads as United desire a hefty €7m-€8m loan fee with and a fixed fee of €40m-€45m at the end of the loan spell, which would include bonuses.
