Ademola Lookman continues to push for a transfer to Inter Milan as he refuses to return to Atalanta amid a standstill in talks.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nigerian remains far away from Bergamo.

Negotiations between Atalanta and Inter have reached an impasse.

Indeed, La Dea informed the San Siro club of their exorbitant €55 million asking price yesterday.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri have no intention of matching that figure and are holding firm at their latest €45 million offer.

Ademola Lookman has agreed on personal terms with Inter.

However, that has done nothing to unsettle Atalanta. Instead, they’re looking to drag talks out until the end of August.

La Dea did the same thing to Juventus last summer during drawn-out talks over Teun Koopmeiners.

Although Inter had hoped to avoid the same scenario, that’s become seemingly impossible.

Yet, they hope to leverage the player’s desire to continue his career at San Siro.

Time is a factor, and the Nerazzurri may want to start exploring other options more actively.
