Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has addressed the media ahead of the club’s upcoming clash with Wolves.

And the 51-year-old confirmed an unfortunate injury blow ahead of the match, with key man Marcus Rashford set to miss out.

“He has a problem, an injury on his leg, so he is a big question mark for tomorrow,” confirmed Ten Hag. “He is doubtful, more than doubtful.”

However, the club will welcome the return of two other players for Saturday’s home game.

Raphaël Varane is set to make an appearance after his month-long lay-off while the absence of Rashford opens the door for Alejandro Garnacho.

“We are happy Rapha Varane is back,” said Ten Hag.

“[Garnacho] has one more week training, definitely … he is available and we have seen he can bring something extra in the team.”
