Leeds United will entertain Southampton at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon as they focus on collecting maximum points at home. The Whites managed to secure a hard-fought 3-2 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers before the international break.
Jesse Marsch could set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few tweaks to his starting XI for this game. Raphinha will probably get a chance to impress as the left-sided wide player in place of Patrick Bamford, who is out of action with an ankle injury.
Defence
Illan Meslier will function in goal for the Whites if he can recover in time for this game. Diego Llorente will once again partner up with Pascal Struijk at the centre of the Leeds backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Luke Ayling could retain his spot at right-back while Stuart Dallas looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Marsch will give both of them the license to get forward and join in on the attack when possible.
Robin Koch will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he offers cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield
Adam Forshaw and Mateusz Klich will anchor the midfield for the Whites as they try to work hard and make life difficult for the Saints at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Jack Harrison, Daniel James and Raphinha will operate just ahead of them as part of Marsch’s attack. Harrison managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the win over Wolves before the international break, so he will be eager to maintain his form and put in a good display this weekend.
Kalvin Phillips will be named on the Leeds bench as he waits for his opportunity to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Rodrigo will spearhead the Whites’ attack on his own up top. He scored the vital equaliser for Leeds in his last league outing which will keep him in high spirits ahead of this crucial contest at Elland Road.
Joe Gelhardt will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
