Raphinha Gets 8.5, Cancelo With 8 | Barcelona Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Napoli

Barcelona entertained Napoli at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan club made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 15th minute thanks to Fermin Lopez’s effort.Joao Cancelo doubled Barca’s lead just a couple of minutes later before Amir Rrahmani got a goal back for the visitors in the 30th minute. Xavi’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Robert Lewandowski put the match to bed in the 83rd minute when he found the back of the net. The contest finished with Barcelona securing an impressive 3-1 win in front of their home fans.
Barca ended up winning the tie by an aggregate score of 4-2.

The German keeper made a few important saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.

Araujo performed his defensive duties well and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.

He cleared the danger when he could and was good on the ball.

LB: Joao Cancelo – 8/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field and did well to score in the 17th minute.
CM: Andreas Christensen – 6.5/10
Christensen performed his defensive duties well and was tidy with his passing.
CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 8/10
He made a few decent chances for others around him in the final third but there was no goal for him.
CM: Fermin Lopez – 7.5/10
Lopez was a constant menace in the opponent’s half and managed to score the opening goal in the 15th minute.
RW: Lamine Yamal – 7.5/10
He caused all sorts of problems for his marker but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Robert Lewandowski – 8/10
Lewandowski was a real threat up top and managed to put the contest to bed in the 83rd minute.
LW: Raphinha – 8.5/10
He was not shy of having a strike at goal and ended the game with an assist to his name. Raphinha deserves to be named the man of the match.
