The new Premier League season is almost upon us, so we’ve ranked the worst home kits ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

5. West Ham United

At first glance, West Ham‘s new home top looks tidy. But pay a little more attention, you notice the blue in Claret and Blue has been reduced to down to some tiny stripes on the sleeves and collar. It also just looks like a bang average Umbro top with a crest and big sponsor slapped on.

4. Brighton

Brighton’s home jersey looks like any other Seagulls kit, but worse. The asymmetric collar not lining up with the middle strip properly is irksome, while the joint designs look lazily threaded together.

3. Spurs

Another poor effort from Nike, I seriously question whether they have put any effort into their Premier League kits this year. Tottenham Hotspur will be playing at home in a training shirt you might wear to the gym. Sponsor is far too big, also.

2. Chelsea

This is an all-time bad year for Nike kits. They have somehow made a Chelsea top look like one of those knockoff jerseys you buy from a stand while on holidays.

It follows the trend of integrating local trademarks and geography into the design; the angular graphic was constructed from digital scans of local civic buildings, such as the pillared facade of the Chelsea Old Town Hall. But it’s no better for it.

1. Man City

Manchester City may be one of the richest clubs in the world, but their home kit looks dreadfully cheap. The defining feature is the sash, but Puma have not pulled it off. A real shame because their away top is magnificent.
