Premier League the 'right step' for Donnarumma | OneFootball

Gianluigi Donnarumma's agent has singled out the Premier League as the next step for his client.

The goalkeeper is expected to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer despite having one year left on his deal. PSG boss Luis Enrique has instead turned to new signing Lucas Chevalier instead of the Italian who was a part of the Champions League winning team last season.

"Premier League is the right step for Gigio in my view, we’re working on it," Donnarumma's representative Enzo Raiola said in a talk with journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Donnarumma had been linked with a move to Manchester United earlier this window but the Red Devils are now thought to be prioritising midfield leaving crosstown rivals City to swoop amid reports that Ederson will leave this month.

"We are still shocked by PSG's behaviour with Gigio," Raiola confirmed, which underlines the fact that the 26-year-old has no future at the Ligue 1 side.
