Rangers delivered a spirited second-half display to hold Hoffenheim in a four-goal thriller.

Jack Butland kept Michael Bealeās side in contention with a point-blank save to deny Angelo Stille from putting the hosts ahead early on.
Rangersā new stopper could not prevent Pavel KadeÅĆ”bek opened the scoring midway through the first half when Todd Cantwellās interception broke kindly for him.
The Bundesliga outfit doubled their tally shortly before the interval as Andrej KramariÄ picked out Ihlas Bebou for a simple finish amid slack defending by the visitors.
But the visitors belatedly found their feet early in the second half and reduced the deficit through a well-taken penalty from captain James Tavernier.
Within six minutes, Rangers had drawn level when Sam Lammers headed home from Tavernierās cross to send their travelling supporters into wild celebrations.
Bealeās side will kick off their new SPFL campaign away to Kilmarnock on 5 August while travel to England on the same day for their final friendly with Fulham.
