Rangers mole is back amid new shock dressing room allegation

By now we’ve all heard the revelations from former Livingston star Marvin Bartley about Rangers’ dressing room, but for those who may have missed it, here’s what he said:

“I think I think there’s a big couple of weeks ahead. Obviously, he was given the new contract and and I’ll be honest, I was in agreement with that. From what I was hearing coming out of the dressing room, there were one or two players that had the mentality of ‘I’ll outlast the manager’. I’ve been in dressing rooms before and it’s very difficult for managers to turn around a club if players think that that’s a possibility. But they need to do more. Regardless of anything, regardless of what’s going on behind the scenes. I think somebody was saying that Rangers have spent north of £15m on transfers. They should not be losing to Kilmarnock and that’s not me being disrespectful. It shouldn’t happen.”

The big part is ‘what I was hearing out of the dressing room’ – Ibrox Noise understands Bartley is closely ‘allied’ with a certain Rangers player, and we are unable to name that player, but it appears that player has spoken to Bartley, and ensured this information would be leaked into the press.

Which creates its own chaos in itself.

Why would anyone be leaking Rangers information of this sensitive nature to someone who is in the active media? Why did the dressing room source/mole want this information in the public domain?

Secondly, what are the implications here?

First of all, this information is very, very likely to be true, and in that case, are the Ibrox players in question gone now? Are they some of the exodus that happened in the summer amid Rangers’ purge?

Secondly, if any of them are still there, this raises massive issues about Govan squad trust, togetherness, and certainly proves a great number of the players, past or present, do not like this manager and want him gone.

This bodes very poorly, and shows the same mentality that happened under Michael Beale, albeit with (some) different players.

No denying Clement has very much been at the heart of a lot of these problems, when he moves on (and he will before the end of this year we believe) the revelations about his shambolic mismanagement will kick in, just like they did about Michael Beale once he’d departed.

But the players also need to look in the mirror – if they don’t like the boss, they need to at least work hard for the fans, and many are not even doing that.

It’s a complete and total shambles at Ibrox this season.
