Rangers get big boost amid raft of injury returns

After all the hype and hoo hah, we are delighted to be able to report that it seems Rangers have just two injuries, that of Robin Propper and Ridvan Yilmaz, and that all other injuries are clearing up fast than expected.

All of Nico Raskin, Oscar Cortes, Dujon Sterling, Leon Balogun, Danilo and Hamza Igamane are now in fully-fledged training to varying degrees, and just the Dutchman and Turk, for now, are unable to join the group at Auchenhowie.

It means that, for the first time in a long time, while not all of these players are ready, per se, manager Philippe Clement is missing only four players from training which is definitely progress.

Unfortunately the likes of Cortes and Igamane aren’t ready to play, but the number of players who are is increasing, and that’s of a great boost to Clement and the fans.

Rangers’ injury issues have been horrendous the past few years, and this is another (all-too-rare) occasion where we are closing in on a much fitter squad.

It’s good news and it’s a definite positive.

Maybe one day we will have all squad members completely fit.

Chance would be a fine thing?
