Eintracht Frankfurt will allow Europa League hero Rafael Borré to leave the club in January, but only if they receive a suitable offer, according to Bild.

The decision was made internally by Eintracht’s supervisory board but only if they receive at least €10m for the Colombian forward, who has played just 400 minutes across 14 Bundesliga games this season.

Because of the rise of Randal Kolo Muani (24) who joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer from FC Nantes in the summer, Borré and Lucas Alario (324 minutes) have both found playing time difficult to find. Alario cost SGE €6.5m from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer and it’s a transfer that is likely to generate a loss.

With Borré, he remains a favourite amongst fans and at 27, is significantly younger than Alaio (30), and so the player could still bring in a decent fee for the Hessen club. Signed on a free transfer in 2021, should SGE receive a respectable fee, then they would allow Borré to leave in January.
