Juventus snatched a point in stoppage time at home to Salernitana, but the performance itself was well below-par.

Scorers: Pierozzi 27', Rabiot 90+2

Adrien Rabiot's late equaliser went some way to sparing Juve's blushes against already relegated Salernitana.

Early on, it was in-form striker Dušan Vlahović who almost gave the home side the lead when he thundered an effort onto the crossbar, a shot which was somehow saved by Salernitana stopper Vincenzo Fiorillo.

Max Allegri's men were punished for failing to take their chances though, as the away side went ahead. Defender Niccolò Pierozzi headed home when he found himself unmarked from a corner inside the six yard box.

Juve fans aired their frustrations as the half came to a close, and things could've been much worse just after the break when Salernitana appealed for a penalty from a potential Adrien Rabiot handball.

The claim was dismissed by VAR, before Vlahović, Federico Chiesa and Manuel Locatelli all went close to finding the equaliser.

Federico Miretti rattled the crossbar with just two minutes remaining, and Rabiot popped up at the back post in stoppage time to salvage a point from a poor display at home.

There was nearly even more late drama as Salernitana's Toma Bašić had a chance to win the game with the last kick, but put his effort way over the bar.

Perhaps even more concerning than the performance itself is the fact that Allegri's side face Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final on Wednesday evening.
