S04 winger Rabbi Matondo started a match for the Wales national team for the first time on Thursday (08/10). Matondo played the full match as Wales were beaten 3-0 by England at Wembley.

The home side’s goals were scored by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Conor Coady and Danny Ings. It was the fifth time that Matondo has appeared for the Dragons, and he will have more opportunities to feature in the coming days with two fixtures in the UEFA Nations League to come. Wales visit Ireland on Sunday (11/10) before a trip to Bulgaria on Wednesday (14/10).
