According to The Athletic, Queens Park Rangers and Rapid Vienna are interested in signing Fulham’s Dutch defender Terence Kongolo. Both sides are looking into the possibility of a loan move for the former Feyenoord player.

Terence Kongolo is yet to feature for Fulham this season under head coach Marco Silva. The 29-year-old has fallen out of favour at the club, having only ever featured four times for the first team since he joined from Huddersfield in 2020. Kongolo is reportedly keen to remain in West London and wants to play regular first-team football.

Kongolo is a left-footed centre-back, who can also play at left-back when needed. The four-time Netherlands international kicked off his career with Feyenoord, where he played 138 games and won an Eredivisie title and a KNVB Cup. Moves to AS Monaco and Huddersfield then followed.

A move away from Craven Cottage is required if Kongolo wants to rekindle his career. Over the last three seasons, he’s played just 17 games of first-team football. A move to QPR could be on the cards as the R’s currently have issues with injuries at the back. However, Terence Kongolo has had his own problems with injuries throughout his career, meaning the move could be a risky one.
