PSG & Uruguay Star Edinson Cavani’s Agents Offer Him To Inter | OneFootball

Edinson Cavani’s representatives have offered him out to Inter ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Uruguayan national team forward’s contract with Paris Saint Germain is set to expire in the coming months and the report claims that Inter did not immediately hang up the phone when they were offered the experienced former Napoli man.

Whilst his representatives phoned Inter, they also phoned PSG to discuss the possibility of a contract renewal. PSG would be willing to offer him a two year contract extension albeit on reduced terms to what he is currently on.

The report goes on to claim that Cavani signing a contract extension with PSG could mean they do not take up their option to sign Mauro Icardi on a permanent basis for €70 million from Inter.

Inter are relying on the sale of the Argentine to help them fund their transfer window and should he not be snapped up by PSG, it has been widely reported that Juventus could make a move for him.
